The Šoštanj castle is a perfect vantage point from which you can admire Šoštanj and the lakes of the Šalek Valley.

Located on the bank of the deepest Slovenian lake is an oasis of top-notch coffee, refreshing homemade beverages, gourmet burgers, fish dishes, ice desserts and over thirty kinds of boutique beer.

The Market takes place every Saturday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. At the stalls, visitors can buy produce and home-made products.

This traditional event is organised at the occasion of miners' day and attracts large crowds every year.
