Sopota – Plešivec – Metulj – Sveti Vid – Završe – Huda luknja

DESCRIPTION
Cycle past the fishermen’s hut between Velenje (Plevel) Lake and Škalsko Lake (fishpond) on the cycling/jogging trail to the Sopota Valley and Plešivec. At the top of the slope, take the right towards Graška gora (image A), and then after 400 m yet another right onto the gravel trail in the forest. You will get back to asphalt just below the WWII resistance memorial. Continue past Metulov vrh to St. Rupert’s church – next to it, you will also find the Meh inn (image C – stamp of the Šaleška hiking trail). Continue to St. Vid’s church and past the primary school (image B), descend on the gravel path to Senčne Završe and then climb again to the road leading to Graška gora (image D), (to the right, it leads back to the WWII memorial), where you should turn left and climb the gravel road to Pribičnik, where the road becomes paved. Continue descending to the main road Velenje – Slovenj Gradec, where the Huda luknja cave is located just 350 m from the Megalec inn. Continue with caution on the main road for 4.72 km to the Paka primary school (next to the Paka gravel quarry), where you should tun left and continue on the former railway all the way to the point of departure. A total of 20.85 km of gravel surfaces.
