Sopota – Plešivec – Gaberke

DESCRIPTION
Cycle past the fishermen’s hut between Velenje (Plevel) Lake and Škalsko Lake (fishpond) on the cycling/jogging trail to the Sopota Valley and Plešivec. Continue past the Vovk inn where you will turn right immediately. Follow the gravel path to Velunjski graben (gorge) (marked) where the road will be paved once more (image A). Continue through Gaberke straight to the crossroads through the ramp and take the gravel path over the (currently quite neglected) subsided area above the coalmines (image B) back to the starting point. A total of 8.34 km of gravel surfaces.
