Lake Družmirje

Lake Družmirje formed the last, and in the middle of the field bearing the same name. It began forming in 1975; in 2005 it spanned more than 63 hectares and contained almost15.3m m³ of water (15). It has the largest surrounding area (more than 30 km²). According to the Velenje Coal Mine, in 2020 it will span more than 170 hectares and thus become the largest lake in the Šalek Valley in surface area and the amount of water.
