 The heart of the abandoned mines where machines used to roar consists of a maze of underground galleries and lakes you’ll be exploring in the company of a guide. You’ll be rowing 700 m underneath ground surface and discover enormous trenches, tunnels and halls. You will be guided by a former miner, who will reveal to you the secrets of his former workplace.

A very intimate experience of the mine where all of the original infrastructure remains following its closure in 1994. Be a part of the 350-year history of the mine that saw several thousand kilometres of galleries being dug and no less than 19 million tonnes of ore being extracted.
