The Šmartno ob Paki hostel is located in the shelter of Mount Oljka (733m) and is easily accessible from all urban centres. Guests can choose from 22 dormitories, an apartment for 8 people, 14 extra mobile beds, and, in the summer, 10 beds on a hayrack, all of which provide a one-of-a-kind experience.

Apartment

The apartment has 8 beds. There are 2 double beds, 4 nice bunk beds, and 2 single beds. The beds are divided into two rooms.

There is a spacious bathroom with a toilet and a shower in the apartment. In the kitchen, you can prepare delicious meals on the stove or heat a snack in the microwave. The kitchen also has a refrigerator with a freezer.

Shared beds

In the Youth House, we have 22 beds in the Hostel’s attic. There are 18 bunk beds and 4 individual beds among them. Despite a large number of beds in one room, it is not crowded even when all of the beds are occupied due to its size. In addition to shared beds, we provide visitors with turnkey lockers in which to store their personal belongings.

Kozlec

We offer you the most one-of-a-kind experience with us: a night on a hayrack. We’ve set up 10 beds on the hayrack, where you’ll sleep on spelt-filled beds and pillows. The husks of this ancient cereal have long been thought to be medicinal. Thus, sleeping on a spelt pillow alleviates neck and lower back pain, headaches, and has a general energizing effect on the body and mind.

We designed the hayrack to be simple and homey so that when you sleep on it, you will feel relaxed and truly connected to the environment to which you came.

Because there is no heating in the hayrack, we only offer overnight stays in the spring and summer, or warmer weather.
