Villa Herberstein

Vila Herberstein is situated in one of the most beautiful locations in Velenje. It is located only two hundred metres from the town’s centre, close to the winter swimming pool, and the woodland behind the Villa is an excellent place for relaxing walks in the nature. The part and terrace in front of the building are an excellent place to drink coffee with friends and enjoy the excellent desserts. The villa is protected under cultural heritage regulations.

Time runs more slowly here and the night-time wind in the hundred-year-old tree tops will send you off into a nice, peaceful night’s sleep. According to a fairy tale, a night’s rest in the villa is said to rejuvenate a weary traveller. In the fairy tale, Vila Herberstein is a mysterious house allowing the person who can understand the whisper of its walls to understand the mystery of time in their dreams.

The Vila Herberstein boasts seven double rooms. All are nicely furnished and boas state-of-the-art furnishings: a colour TV, mini bar, and comfortable bathrooms. All guests to date can attest to the fact that spending the night at the villa is a peaceful and nice experience, also due to the fairytale-like surrounding – on the hill above the town, next too the woods and in the shade and tranquillity of hundred-year-old trees.
